Al Jazeera aired a documentary report, The Dark Side: Secrets of the Sports Dopers, that connected Peyton Manning to a doping circle.
It alleges that the Indianapolis anti-aging clinic mailed human growth hormone supplements addressed to his wife, Ashley Manning, following the quarterback’s 2011 neck surgery.

Peyton was sidelined for the 2011 season after neck surgery and signed with the Broncos. Later, he decided to take legal action against the documentary makers.
He didn’t sue Al Jazeera, but their lawyers tried to obtain records from Peyton’s lawyers.
The former NFL quarterback confirmed the shipments were sent to his home but were meant for his wife.
He mentioned he had never taken anything illegal that was prescribed to his wife, and her medical history is no one’s business but her own.
His team supported him and didn’t believe the false claim made to Al Jazeera.
Peyton Manning married Ashley in Memphis on St. Patrick’s Day, 2001, and had twins, Marshall Williams and Mosley Thompson, born on March 31, 2011.
Ashley is a graduate of the University of Virginia, and they met in college.
