After nearly two years of marriage, Naresh and Mamta Bhatt welcomed their adorable daughter, Neema Bhatt, into the world in 2023.

Mamta often shared videos on TikTok and Facebook, capturing cherished moments with her daughter, filled with love and affection.

However, a devastating turn of events occurred when Mamta went missing, casting a shadow of grief and uncertainty over the family, especially for Neema.

In the aftermath of Mamta’s disappearance and Naresh’s a*rest, Neema was removed from the couple’s home on Thursday morning and placed in the care of the Department of Social Services.

According to a joint news release issued Thursday afternoon by Police Chief Lugo and Commonwealth’s Attorney Amy Ashworth,

The child [Neema] is safe and being cared for by an appropriate caregiver approved by the Department of Social Services and the Manassas Park Police Department.

Navarro, a close friend and former roommate of Mamta, shared her concerns and said,

The baby’s okay. We’re working very hard to make sure she doesn’t have to stay there overnight, but that looks like it might happen.

Moreover, Navarro mentioned that she spent time with Kafle’s baby, Neema, on August 20, 2024, the little girl’s first birthday, and said,

She’s struggling with missing her mom. Even if it doesn’t come easily, we will get justice for Mamta. There are so many people who love and care for her.

Navarro expressed hope that either she or another of Mamta’s closest friends, Sarita Neupane, will be allowed to care for Neema during this challenging time, as both women already know and love the child.

Mamta’s other friend, Deuja, added that she’s grateful that the baby is out of Bhatt’s hands now.

Mamta Kafle Was A Dedicated Pediatric Nurse, While Her Husband Naresh Bhatt Served In I.T. And The U.S. Military!

Mamta Kafle Bhatt was a dedicated healthcare professional and registered nurse. Before disappearing, she was a pediatric nurse at Prince William Medical Center.

Her journey in the medical field began with her early education at Nava Ratna English Secondary School, followed by further studies at Baylor International Academy in Banepa, Nepal.

Driven by her passion for nursing, Mamta pursued advanced education at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, where she built a foundation in healthcare.

Recently, concerns have intensified as Mamta has gone missing, causing deep worry among her loved ones and colleagues.

Meanwhile, her husband, Naresh Bhatt, was born to parents, father Lalmani Bhatt, and mother, Parbati Bhatt, in Mahendranagar, Nepal.

He has a diverse professional background in government and military roles.

In 2018, Naresh completed training at the Logistics Training Department (LTD) at the U.S. Army Quartermaster School, which laid the groundwork for his career.

Professionally, Naresh has worked in information technology at the U.S. Federal Government in Washington, D.C., since 2022.

Before this role, he also served as a Police Officer for the Fairfax County Government from June 2020 until January 2021.

In addition to these positions, Naresh has been actively serving in the U.S. Army since June 2017.
