Big Day of Giving
FREE Online Screening of "Thanks to Hank"
On May 7, in conjunction with Big Day of Giving, BENT will present online the film “Thanks to Hank,” an amazing documentary about Hank Wilson and his and others’ work in San Francisco from the 1970’s-90’s, housing the homeless and those with HIV, and fighting for Gay Rights. We will also present at 8:30pm that evening, an online Q&A session with the director of the film (Bob Ostertag) and others involved, in which all of you can participate.
While viewing the film will be free of charge, we ask that you consider donating to us directly on that day through our “DONATE with JustGiving” button or at Big Day of Giving.
50% of the donations will go to Hospitality House, a San Francisco charity selected by Bob Ostertag, and to the Sacramento LGBT Community Center’s homeless youth program.
