Similarly, he went to the United States Army Armor School, Fort Knox, Kentucky, in 1971. Moreover, he was also a student of the Armed Forces Staff College and National War College.
G.B. Higginbotham continued his studies till 1988 while serving in the US Marine Corps.
As soon as Geoffrey graduated from Army Armor School, he became the commanding officer of two companies at Camp Pendleton, California.
After that, Higginbotham served in various capacities as Inspector-Instructor, commanding officer, and logistic officer.
Later, in 1987, twenty years after his graduation, G.B. returned to the U.S. Army Armor School as commanding officer.
Over three decades, Geoffrey dedicated his career to the U.S. Marine Corps, working in several fields in different roles.
