At the same time, Colorado prosecutors dismissed a felony trespassing charge against Shawna Bentz, according to the Watchdog American Muckrakers.
In 2023, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office reexamined Benz’s arrest warrant.
An X commenter called Bentz “Xenophobic trash” and included a video of a woman, who seemed to be Boebert’s mother, complaining about Mexicans playing music at a gas station.
Similarly, the specifics of Bentz’s 2016 arrest warrant are still unknown.
Stan Lane Is Not Lauren Boebert Biological Father
Rep. Lauren Boebert’s mother has long insisted that her biological father was a retired professional wrestler Stan Lane, with whom she had an affair in the 1980s.

After a DNA test, it was confirmed that Lane was not her biological father.
However, concern arose about Boebert’s side of the story after investigators found that the lab worker who took the sample of Lane’s blood had accepted a bribe to switch vials.
Furthermore, Shawna filed a request with the courts to look into Lane after learning of the sample switch.
Stan Lane subsequently granted Lauren Boebert physical ownership of the DNA sample when he agreed to take another test in May, which resulted in a second negative finding.
