Emilia Hermaszewska had been a member of the supervisory board of Armatura Kraków, owned by Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń (PZU), an insurance company.
She dedicated her time to the company from 2016 to 2021. However, in the summer of 2021, it was reported that Emilia and 13 other PiS politician‘s family lost their positions.
After that, 51-year-old Hermaszewska worked as a legal advisor and has provided services to companies in the interior design industry.
Furthermore, Emilia Hermaszewska is the daughter of Polish Cosmonaut Mirosław Hermaszewski and her mother Emilia (née Łazar) Hermaszewska.

Ryszard Czarnecki and Emilia Hermaszewska got married in 2010. Emilia is his second wife.
Ryszard’s first marriage ended in divorce in the mid-1990s. From that marriage, he had two sons: Przemysław, born in 1983, a politician, and Bartosz, born in 1990.
Similarly, with Mirosław Hermaszewski’s daughter Emilia, he has a son, Stanisław, who was born in 2010.
The CBA recently detained the couple on corruption charges of The Collegium Humanum Affair, a private university previously managed by Ryszard’s nephew Paweł Czarnecki.
The case concerns an investigation conducted by the CBA in cooperation with the National Prosecutor’s Office in Katowice since March 2023.
Reports say that Emilia was to receive a doctorate from Collegium Humanum and be employed at the university.
Then, in return, her husband, Ryszard Czarnecki, was to commit to lobbying the Uzbek authorities to establish a branch of Collegium Humanum in that country.
Although Ryszard claims the allegations are lies and complete nonsense, He is currently in detention, and the case is being investigated further.
